Dry and dehydrated: what's the difference?
Often the terms "dehydrated" and "dry" are used as synonyms, but in fact they are different concepts.
Dry skin is characterized by a feeling of tightness, peeling, hypersensitivity. The level of damage is located in the epidermis (upper layer). Here, the lipid barrier weakens, and, as a result, moisture loss increases.
