Lactoferrin is a natural glycoprotein found primarily in mammalian colostrum. This formula features highly purified Proferrin® lactoferrin (over 95% purity), manufactured in France. Provides immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects, regulates iron metabolism, and promotes the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora
Lactoferrin, a multifunctional protein from the transferrin family, is an integral part of the innate immune system.
Main effects:
-
Immunomodulatory action: Helps the body resist pathogens by interacting with immune cells. In particular, it promotes an increase in T-lymphocyte count.
-
Antibacterial action: Deprives bacteria of iron, inhibiting their growth, and also contributes to the destruction of bacterial cell membranes, leading to their death.
-
Antiviral action: Binds viral particles and prevents them from entering cells.
-
Antifungal action: Effective particularly against Candida albicans.
-
Anti-inflammatory action: Helps reduce levels of inflammatory markers (including reactive oxygen species, pro-inflammatory cytokines, and others).
-
Regulation of iron metabolism: Binds iron ions, transports them into cells, and controls free iron levels in the blood.
-
GIT support: Stimulates the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora and reduces inflammatory processes.
-
Anabolic effect: Stimulates bone tissue growth and repair, and supports the prevention of osteoporosis.
Take 1 capsule a day with a glass of water.
